Started in 2015 by Prabhakar Gautam, Murchana is a discussion program organized in collaboration with Bookaholics and Alag Abhiyan. The talks are focused on music and its relation to the society and the community.
Music artists or people related to the field are invited—on the first Saturday of every Nepali month—to give a talk on music, its history and how it affects societies.
Legendary Nepali singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan was featured during the first issue of the project and since then, many popular singers like Abhaya Subba and Jhuma Limbu have took to stage to talk about how their art makes a difference in the world.
The two-hour program starts from 3 pm.
