We are excited to announce our accommodation is now open at NexUs Culture Nepal! Come stay with us!
A comfortable 3 storey home located in Kathmandu’s ex-pat haven. Access to cafes, art galleries and transport to anywhere in Kathmandu. You will have your own private, spacious room on the second floor of our artistic home! A perfect combination of inspiration, comfort and warm hospitality.
The Space
We have 3 comfortable bedrooms available. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are very spacious and have a bathroom attached. Bedroom 3 is a groovy single bedroom. Outside the bedrooms is a lounge / workshop space, upstairs is a kitchen and terrace with a fantastic view of the mountains surrounding Kathmandu. Downstairs is a garden area and cafe space (which will be opening in the first week of September 2015). You are free to enjoy and hang out in any of these lovely spaces!
The wifi works well throughout the house! We have good hot water in the bathrooms as well!
Guest Access
You will have keys to your rooms and also the front door so you can come and go as you please.
Interaction with Guests
I am available, or my husband to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We are very happy to help in anyway we can to make your stay as comfortable as possible! You are welcome to have a simple breakfast with us every morning (we stay on Level 1 of the home), which we have between 8am and 8.30am on the terrace on Level 3. We have bread (usually homemade), condiments and plenty of tea!
The Neighborhood
Our home is located in Bakhundole, Lalitpur, Kathmandu. It is an ex-pat haven, close to the UN building, some embassys, Hotel Himalaya. There is a variety of restaurants, cafes, art galleries and a large supermarket within walking distance of our home.
Getting Around
You can walk easily around the neighbourhood and getting to key things like cafes, restaurants, corner stores and a large supermarket. It is also super easy to get taxis from the main road.
There is a lot of public transportation, and we can explain that to you when you arrive. Nepali people catch ‘micro-buses’ which are like minivans and our main form of cheap transportation. It is an ‘experience’ for sure!
Other Things to Note
There is a bathroom (shower and toilet) attached to Bedroom 1. It is a 2 door access. One door is to Bedroom 1 and the other is to the corridor. Bedrooms 1 and 3 share the same bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a private bathroom.
You are welcome to make tea or coffee at anytime on Level 3 (or any other food for that matter!).
